Before I even scrolled down to the text part of the entry, I took one look at this picture and the first thing I thought was “cherry cola”. That’s really all that stuck. rebeccalando: For most of today, the internet has been down in my office. So I got to thinking about things that annoy me, and then things that annoyed me pre-Ethernet. Which led me - pretty quickly - to Savage Garden. I mean, these lyrics are as ridiculous today as they were in 1996, you guys: Anytime I need to see your faceI just close my eyesAnd I am taken to a place where your crystal mind andMagenta feelings take up shelter in the base of my spineSweet like a drink of cherry cola Savage Garden, you fail the ironic/good-in-hindsight 1990s test.
