The Weinachts Mart (Christmas Market) in Strasbourg, France. They’re a German tradition, but Strasbourg is right on the French/German border and they have a fabulous one. I went to this several years ago with my family, while my dad was stationed in Paris.
I love Weinachts Marts. It is serious Christmas at these things. All of the stalls are selling ornaments or handmade gifts or warm drinks (both alcoholic and non) or all kinds of food. And there’s lights and music and trees and man I really want to go to one now. Anybody want to buy me a ticket to Germany?
