The Ladi Doth Protest Too Much

Checking my bank account online this morning I discovered a couple of unfamiliar charges. Called my bank and sure enough, the phone representative transferred me to the fraud department. The charges are being treated as fraud, which means they shut down my debit card. Which means no debit card, no ATM. Until they send me a new card, I’m paying by check or credit card. Joy.

On top of that, I discovered today that Capital One jacked up my interest rate 9%. NINE percent! Not because of anything I did or didn’t do, just because they felt like it. Add “Transfer CC balance” to today’s to-do list.
