Batman: Arkham Asylum

  1. Is definitely GOTY material.
  2. Feels like Super Metroid with Batman playing Samus (this is a good thing.)
  3. Is tremendously solid in gameplay, controls, execution, atmosphere, character, and overall fun.
  4. Has the best melee combat system I’ve played in a LONG time.
  5. Sucked up almost 5 hours of my life this afternoon.
  6. Was an awesome birthday present from my little brother. (Thanks dude!)
  7. Will have to fight it out with Uncharted 2 for the “My Favorite Game of the Year” award.
  8. I forgot what 8 was for.
  9. I have yet to find any real negatives.
  10. Honestly.
Also, Beth likes to play alongside me (read: watch me play from the other sofa) because she’s genuinely interested in the plot, and she said she enjoys figuring out the riddles.
