I really wish this photo had come out better. What you’re looking at is tonight’s dinner, which was essentially “duck stuffed inside baklava” - trust me, I know. And it was as awesome as it sounds. The only downside was the really, really terrible service, which took almost 45 minutes to just get us our water and drinks (and then came back admitting that they’d forgotten what we ordered and never put it in.)
But honestly, the duck baklava almost made it all worth it.

The food was really good, as Barrett said separately, my salmon was perfect. But man did the service suck. And not in an “Americans don’t understand French service” sort of way. In an “bring me my fucking kir before I walk out on your ass” way. But whatever, we’ve had too much good food/service up til this point to let one thing ruin it. Onward!
