Goooaaaal!
Even if the US loses this game, and what an AMAZING day for US soccer if we don’t, to lead Brazil is pretty damn exciting.
To have played is to know how how even the simplest pass is poetry. To land a ball exactly on someone’s feet while they are in stride. To find the corner of the net. To beat a defender in the box. I miss the game terribly, even if I sadly lack the stamina to play like I used to.
Anyways, now accepting dates to watch the games in the city should I not be in South Africa next year.
Lia, meet Spytap. I just read your entry to him because I know he feels exactly the same way that you do about the game. Play nice, kids.
