Today was the best book day EVER.
This morning I dropped by the library to pick up The Girl Who Played with Fire, which was on hold for me. Yay!
I found a Borders gift card that I got for my birthday and thought was lost forever, so Barrett and I went to Borders and I bought a graphic novel for him as an early birthday present and three books for me. Double Yay!
THEN: I got a package in the mail. It was the first book of the book club subscription Barrett gave me for my birthday. This is a v. special book club, all the books have not been released yet. This first book is not available until September 27th, which means that NOBODY I KNOW HAS READ IT YET! Plus, toward the end of the month the club has an online forum with the author! OMFG YAY!!!
So now I have five, count them, five new books to read once I finish reading Blindness. I am so goddamn excited.
