Teacher Who Inspired 'Stand and Deliver' Passes...
Jamie Escalante, the math teacher at Garfield East Los Angeles high school who inspired the movie “Stand and Deliver,” has died at 79. They should make more movies about guys like this. Escalante motivated struggling students to excel at advanced math and science. He helped them and pushed them and told they could when everybody else said they couldn’t. This man was a teacher.

Anybody know a remedy for stomach cramps?
I’m having really wicked cramps and additional stomach issues and Pepto’s not really helping. Anyone out there have any home remedies I could try?
EDIT: Thanks for all the feedback, guys. I steeped some fresh ginger with spice tea and we’ll see what happens, otherwise, I will have to resort to Melissa’s remedy.
