It's one of the things he loves about me
Him: So you'll be home between 6:45 and 7, then?
Me: Yep. So make sure the hookers and coke are cleaned up by then.
Him: Well, we're still working on one of the hookers, but the rest are gone.
Me: Still working on one of them?
Him: Let's just say some very bad things happened here.
Me: *sigh* Well, just clean up the blood and do whatever it is you do with the bodies. Oh, and make sure you get the coke out of the edges of the glass panels in the coffee table. You forgot to last time.
Him: Oh, we found a much better way. We just snort the coke directly off the hookers. Much easier cleanup, you just kick them out.
Me: Except for that one...
Him: Well, technically we kicked her out too, in a larger metaphysical sense.
Me: God, we're weird.
Him: Yeah, but mostly you.
Me: Yeah, I know.

You should. We just started watching the first season, it’s really charming. It kind of reminds me of those mystery shows from the 80s that were completely ridiculous but so much fun to watch.

Avatar: The Last Airbender
A while back, a friend of ours recommended that we watch the Nickelodeon animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender. So we downloaded the first season to check it out. And after the first few episodes, we were hooked. Because…you guys…it’s really good. Not just good for a cartoon, but really good.
We finished the series tonight, a four-part finale that actually made me cry....

Barrett and I just bought our tickets to go visit my family for Thanksgiving. I was writing a little note to let them know the travel plans and sent it to Barrett to read. My note was a little strange, no more than my family expects from me, but Barrett..well…he has a knack for taking the joke as far as possible. This is my email:
Dear Family, The tickets have been purchased, Barrett and I...
Croque-monsieur
A croque-monsieur is a hot ham and cheese (typically emmental or gruyere) grilled sandwich. It originated in France as a fast-food snack served in cafes and bars. More elaborate versions come coated in a Mornay or Bechamel sauce.

We are having another one of those make pretend earthquakes at 10:15am today. Are all of us background folks getting SAG or NON-SAG rates for that?
Yeah, we’re doing this too. Everyone in the office is actually required to crawl under their desks and sit there until the “earthquake” is over. I’m taking a book.

Pamela Anderson recruits a strange nine-year-old girl to hold up the train of her dress, ignores her most of the night and caps it off my calling her like a dog while on stage.
That is SO not true. There’s no way that thing Pam was wearing could be called a dress. Curtains from the Barbie dream house held together with safety pins maybe, but not a dress. Pics of...
It is currently colder INSIDE the office than it...
It’s not cold outside, only about 65, so I’m not expecting the heat to be on, but it’s certainly cool enough that the air conditioner should not be on and blasting us into the 50s. That’s just silly.
